Foster SMS Terms & Conditions

By opting in to receive SMS text messages from Fur All Kittys Cat Rescue (“Fur All Kittys,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to the following Foster SMS Terms & Conditions.
1. Purpose of SMS Messages
Fur All Kittys may use SMS text messaging to communicate with approved foster volunteers regarding rescue and foster-related matters, including but not limited to:
Reminders to submit foster cat or kitten weights and medical updates
Medication and treatment reminders
Vaccine and veterinary appointment reminders
Spay/neuter appointment reminders
Requests for updated foster information or photographs
Foster supply pickup or delivery reminders
Intake, transport, or transfer coordination
Important foster policy or procedure reminders
Time-sensitive information concerning cats or kittens in foster care
Other communications reasonably related to an individual's foster responsibilities
SMS messages are intended to supplement, not replace, normal communication between Fur All Kittys and its foster volunteers.
2. Consent to Receive Messages
By providing your mobile telephone number and opting in to receive SMS messages from Fur All Kittys, you consent to receive recurring text messages related to your foster responsibilities.
Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of adoption, volunteering, fostering, donating, or purchasing goods or services from Fur All Kittys.
Message frequency may vary depending on your foster responsibilities and the needs of the cats and kittens in your care.
3. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and cellular plan. Fur All Kittys is not responsible for any charges imposed by your mobile carrier.
4. Opting Out
You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying:
STOP
After you send STOP, Fur All Kittys will make reasonable efforts to discontinue SMS messages to that number, except for communications that may be necessary to complete an existing request or as otherwise permitted by law.
You may also contact Fur All Kittys directly to request removal from SMS communications.

6. Emergency Communications
SMS messaging is not an emergency communication service and should not be relied upon for urgent medical or safety situations.
If a foster cat or kitten is experiencing an emergency, the foster should follow Fur All Kittys' established emergency medical procedures and contact the appropriate Fur All Kittys representative or veterinary provider immediately.
Fur All Kittys does not guarantee that an SMS message will be delivered immediately or successfully.
7. Privacy
Fur All Kittys will use the mobile telephone number provided for foster-related communication and other purposes for which the individual has provided consent.
Fur All Kittys will not intentionally sell or rent foster volunteers' telephone numbers to third parties for marketing purposes.
SMS communications may be processed through third-party messaging service providers. By opting in, you acknowledge that your phone number and message information may be processed by such providers as necessary to deliver the messages.
8. Changes to SMS Terms
Fur All Kittys reserves the right to modify these SMS Terms & Conditions from time to time. Updated terms may be made available through Fur All Kittys' website, foster documentation, or other appropriate communication channels.
9. Acceptance
By opting in to receive SMS messages from Fur All Kittys, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Foster SMS Terms & Conditions.
